Director

Tate is entering his sixteenth year heading up ACF. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.A. in Journalism and from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Masters in Divinity. He is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. He and his wife, Ashley, have 5 children - Brylee (14), EllieAnn (11), Kate (8), Hallie (5), and Ryder (3). 

When not at work, Tate is coaching his kids' sports teams, playing golf, and laughing with Ashley. 

Macon, GA

Associate Director | ACFresh, Youth

Gabby has served one year as a Coordinator while finishing her degree in Finance in December 2025. Joining the Awakening LEAD team completely changed the way Gabby saw her life in college. She found a community of people giving their life to Jesus in faith and worship during such a pivotal time in life. She's on staff to serve with our Freshman ministry and the Youth at FMC.

Gabby has a dog that she got in college named Lucky! She loves to take Lucky on walks, spend time with friends, and do anything competitive.

Augusta, GA

Associate Director | ACFresh, Media

Morgan is entering her second year as Associate Director after serving as a Coordinator since her graduation in 2023 with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College. She's excited to continue pouring back into the community that gave her so much in college and brought her into deeper relationship with the Lord. She'll continue her impact serving in our Freshman ministry that she's been part of for many years!

When Morgan isn't working, she's drinking a large iced white mocha at Blackbird, going to the gym, or thrifting.

Loganville, GA

Associate Director | Fundraising, Coffeehouse, Coordinator Program, Media

Jenna is entering her third year as Associate Director. She graduated from Georgia College in 2021 with a B.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. Jenna has served in many areas of Awakening over the years - media, women’s, community, fundraising, coffeehouse, freshman ministry, and more - but her favorite way to invest in the community is through discipleship and her giftings in administration.

Jenna married the love of her life, Calvin, in November 2024. They love playing card games in coffee shops and taking walks around campus together.  

Marietta, GA

First Year Coordinator | Prayer, Women's

Emily graduated in 2026 from Georgia College with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a minor in Rhetoric. She has been a part of Awakening for three years, serving in Fresh, Prayer, Youth, and Discipleship. She has always loved building relationships with people and has found ministry to be a place where people can experience deep connection with one another and the Lord. Women’s ministry has particularly been on her heart, and she is excited to see how God uses her to encourage and build up women in the Awakening community. She will also serve on the Prayer team to help people seek God in new ways through prayer. 

In her free time, Emily is probably drinking a brown sugar cinnamon latte, learning more about how faith and psychology connect, experimenting in the kitchen, thrifting, or staying physically active.

Berkeley Lake, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Community

Sean will graduate this December with a degree in Business. Since his time as a freshman, Sean has been tied into the ACF Community, so much so that he has become a core part of the Community team where he will continue to serve as a Coordinator. Sean has also been involved in Fresh and as a discipler. Being part of ACF has deeply transformed Sean's life through intentional community, men pouring into his life, and opportunities to lead and serve. 

In his free time, Sean loves playing disc golf, sleeping in, and hanging with friends.

Lawrenceville, GA

First Year Coordinator | Discipleship, Prayer

Samuel graduated in 2026 with a B.A. in Geography, minoring in Economics. He started getting plugged into Awakening his sophomore year of college and began serving on the prayer team his junior year. Discipleship and prayer have deeply transformed his life in the last several years of being part of ACF. He's experienced so much fruit in hearing the voice of God, exhorting others, and growing as a leader. 

In his free time, Samuel loves watching movies, playing games, going on hikes, hosting prayer nights, and investing in his friends. 

Lafayette, GA

First Year Coordinator | Men's, Worship

Ethan will graduate in December 2026 with a degree from Georgia Highlands College. During his time at Awakening, he's mainly served on the Worship team where he will continue to invest as a Coordinator. He hopes to create a culture of reverence and unity on the team and with the student body. Additionally, he'll be serving on the Men's team where he's actively invested for the last few years.

While not working, he enjoys going for coffee, hanging with friends, watching sports, and playing with his dog, Jax.

Buford, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Women's

Belle graduated from Georgia College in May 2026 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. During her four years in college, she served on the Worship team as both a leader and intern. Throughout that time, Awakening became such an important part of her life and faith journey. The people and community at Awakening continually challenged, encouraged, and supported her, and she’s so excited to now give back to a ministry that has poured so much into her. While serving at Awakening, Belle will also be pursuing her M.Ed. in Instruction through Augusta University.

In her free time, Belle loves going on walks with friends, playing games, and cooking!

Norcross, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Discipleship

Parker graduated from Georgia College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Over her 4 years as a students, she served on the Worship and Prayer teams. While she is on staff continuing to serve with the Prayer team and jumping on board with ACFresh, Parker will also be pursuing her M.Ed. at GCSU.

Parker loves drinking coffee and going for walks on the Greenway. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Lilburn, GA

First Year Coordinator | Community, Worship

Addison graduated from Georgia College in May 2026 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Rhetoric. She has served on the Awakening worship team for the past 4 years and felt poured into by leaders around her. She also fell in love with the community at Awakening and has experienced so much personal growth with the Lord. One of the best things she experienced through Awakening was discipleship - both being discipled and discipling others. She will be staying on staff at Awakening to serve on both the Community and Worship teams.

When Addison has free time, she loves to go on runs and walks with friends, drink yummy coffee, and laugh a lot!

Cumming, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Outreach

Faith graduated from Georgia College in May 2026 with a B.S. in Psychology. She has been a part of Awakening for the last 3 years after transferring from Georgia Southern. Her time in this ministry has given her a place to grow in her faith, find genuine community, and learn what it looks like to walk closely with the Lord in everyday life. She's excited to now serve in a new capacity and invest in others, the way so many people have invested in her. 

Faith loves getting crafty, thrifting, and spending quality time with her friends!
