Director

Tate is entering his fifteenth year heading up ACF. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.A. in Journalism and from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Masters in Divinity. He is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. He and his wife, Ashley, have 5 children - Brylee (13), EllieAnn (11), Kate (8), Hallie (4), and Ryder (2). 

When not at work, Tate is coaching his kids' sports teams, playing golf, and laughing with Ashley. 

Augusta, GA

Associate Director | ACFresh, Media

Morgan is starting her first year as Associate Director after serving as a Coordinator since her graduation in 2023 with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College. She's excited to continue pouring back into the community that gave her so much in college and brought her into deeper relationship with the Lord. She'll continue her impact serving in our Freshman ministry that she's been part of for many years!

When Morgan isn't working, she's drinking a large iced white mocha at Blackbird, going to the gym, or thrifting.

Loganville, GA

Associate Director | Fundraising, Coffeehouse, Coordinator Program, Media

Jenna is returning for her fourth year on staff to serve as an Associate Director. She graduated from Georgia College in 2021 with a B.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. Jenna has served in many areas of Awakening over the years - media, women’s, community, fundraising, coffeehouse, freshman ministry, and more - but her favorite way to invest in the community is through discipleship and her giftings in administration.

Jenna married the love of her life, Calvin, in November 2024. They love playing card games in coffee shops and taking walks around campus together.  

Valdosta, GA

Associate Director | Discipleship, Worship/Production, ACFresh, LEAD Program 

Mackenzie graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College in 2019. She's been on staff at Awakening ever since because it was the place where she truly found relationship with the Lord. Awakening has provided mentors and teachers that have shown her how to walk with the Lord in all circumstances, and she's met some of her best friends here! 

In her spare time, Mack to DJ, play cards, drink matcha, and wear dope sneakers!

St. Simons Island, GA

Second Year Coordinator | Worship/Production, Community, Photography

Jacob is returning for his 2nd year on staff at Awakening. He graduated in 2024 with a B.A. in 20th Century American History and a minor in music performance. Jacob leads the Awakening worship team and loves to pursue God with new and expressive forms of worship. He leads the Worship/Production ministry under the wisdom of 1 Corinthians 12, striving for a unified and diversified team of worship leaders and congregational worshipers. 

Jacob loves to spend time outdoors biking or hiking, and often spends his weekend playing music for regional shows, weddings, or other events in and around the Milledgeville community. 

Macon, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Youth

Gabby will graduate this December from Georgia College with a B.S. in Finance. Joining the Awakening LEAD team completely changed the way Gabby saw her life in college. She found a community of people giving their life to Jesus in faith and worship during such a pivotal time in life. She's staying on staff to serve with our Freshman ministry and the Youth at FMC.

Gabby has a dog that she got in college named Lucky! He loves going to coffee house and loves to lay down during walks.

Kennesaw, GA

First Year Coordinator | Outreach, Community

Ella graduated from Georgia College in May 2025 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She is pursuing a career in Behavioral Analysis through a Master’s program at Purdue University. 

This is Ella’s first year on staff after being involved in Awakening for 3 years. She has worked closely with the Outreach team, Worship and Production team, and spends each Sunday with the Children’s Ministry at FMC. 

Ella loves anything that allows her to be creative and social. This often looks like craft nights with her friends while playing games or watching movies.

McDonough, GA

First Year Coordinator | ACFresh, Prayer

Allie graduated from Georgia College in 2025 with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education. She served on Fresh, Prayer, and Worship throughout college and has loved being involved in the Awakening community. She has enjoyed being able to pour out into this ministry and is excited to continue that this year as her first year of staff.

Allie loves going on walks and spending time outside with friends and by herself. She also enjoys anything that lets her be creative.
